CMS Distribution expands the Gigabyte portfolio with the new AERO & AORUS notebooks

London, UK, Friday 1st May 2020: CMS Distribution, one the UK’s largest independent distributor of PC components, gaming peripherals and IT products, is pleased to announce a distribution partnership with Gigabyte Notebooks. CMS will be supplying the latest new range of Gigabyte AERO notebooks targeted at content creation and premium performance users. We will also offer the comprehensive new range of AORUS notebooks targeted firmly at the gaming user.

Gigabyte are pioneers in the Performance and Gaming Notebook segments developing leading edge products as the market has evolved over recent years. With Gigabytes’ 34 years’ experience in the PC and Components market, the Taiwanese company continues its growth journey by appointing CMS to develop Channel, Retail and the VAR / B2B space.

More consumers, and businesses are now demanding mobility, performance, premium design and build-quality, but in the past these users were almost “forced” to look within the Gaming segment for products capable of delivering what they needed. Gigabyte was the first to identify this niche and brought the AERO to market. The first true performance notebook in a thin chassis with genuine “all day computing” capability. With a classic minimalist design, AERO has been praised and awarded over the last 3 years and continues to be a leading product in this new segment targeted at the “Content Creator” market. Introducing features such as AMOLED Screens and HDR Screens all of which are individually calibrated by Pantone X-rite equipment in the factory, Gigabyte is delivering a compelling alternative to tempt Creators away from their regular brand.

For the ever popular and growing Gaming segment, AORUS is now back after a year long gap of new products in the UK. The range will comprise of 4 Chassis models, three of which will be equipped with a full mechanical keyboard – again, a leading-edge development from AORUS as these are housed in slim chassis.

CMS’s Jonpaul Warren added, “We are excited to announce this partnership with Gigabyte on their Laptops. Gigabyte have an extensive range of premium quality products that will provide us a tremendous opportunity to engage across our customer base, with the Aorus products in gaming etail and independents and with our VAR’s on the Aero range into the content creative channels, the timing could not be better with the launch of the new 10th Generation Intel products along with NVIDIA RTX GPU’s

Gigabyte UK Country Manager, Steve Clark, commented: “We want to work with partners who understand the market for a quality product, re-sellers who can add value and are looking to do more than simply shift boxes for small margins. Re-sellers of all sizes can benefit from the healthy margins on offer with these notebooks, for the majority of end users they represent a considered purchase and we want to work with partners that understand and deliver a quality sale. We have chosen to work with CMS as a distribution partner as we believe their focus and enthusiasm will help us achieve our goals.”

With new 10th Generation Intel products, coupled with NVIDIAs latest RTX SUPER GPU it is a great opportunity to engage with Gigabyte, AORUS and CMS Distribution.
