Conclusion:

Malawarebytes Premium is a great user friendly tool. Used along side your AV of choice it makes a great line of defense. It is said that it can replace your AV or work along side it. Personally, I would not use it as a replacement. Here is why..It left out some key features that I have come to appreciate in my Internet Security such as PC Tune Up, Game Boost, and Parental Control. So that being said, I see it as a companion to my already installed security. A great program though, none the less. -- Jenni Griffiths

Malwarebytes Premium is one of those products that just does what its supposed to, with no fancy gimmicks. Its sole aim is to keep your PC and you safe online, and it does that without an issue. So, for someone who does not need a gaming mode, or a disk cleanup utility this would the ideal tool. I foresee it being more popular on office computers or someone wanting a bit more protection on top of their normal everyday security. I tried Malwarebytes with 3 other security programs (Bullguard, Webroot, Emsisoft) and has no conflicts. - Phil Griffiths

Stand out point:

Malawarebytes can work as a stand alone or along side your current AV. It gives you a little bit extra defense against things like Data Encryption and ID Theft.

Runs quietly in the background until a scan or safe browsing sends a message.
You are in control of what action to take. You can quarantine or delete the offensive intrusion, or take no action.
Customize your scan times to your own schedule.
Stops ransomware

Cons:

No gaming mode
No PC boost
No parental control
No 24 hr support
No Retail Box version in the UK
